RCH is hosting a day-long event of refresher courses for EMS and Rural Healthcare Providers on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. This event will be held in the RCH Training Room (Old Medicap) from 0900-1630.
Janet Taylor (BSN CEN CRFN CCEMT-P) will be on site to provide in-person training on various pre-hospital and hospital emergency topics.
Topics that will be discussed include:
- History’s Mysteries: Interesting Ways Famous People Have Died
- She’s Having a Baby!: Pregnancy Complications
- Time is Brain: Stroke Assessment and Treatment Guidelines
- The Right Stuff: Critical Thinking Application ALS Version
- Waiting to Exhale: Capnography
- Every Breath You Take: The Most Common Respiratory Diagnoses
- Main Squeeze: Choosing Vasopressors
This is a free event for RCH employees and all EMS and Rural Healthcare Providers are welcome! EMS CEs are available for $30 total for non-RCH employees. For RN CEs ($10 total for non-RCH employees), please contact Jen Worisek at (406) 696-2317.
