Kristen Collier, ARNP Kristen’s journey in healthcare began in 2009 when she walked across the stage at Iowa Western Community College as a Registered Nurse (RN). Her passion for nursing and a desire for caring for others led her to pursue further education, earning her a Bachelors in 2014 following with a Masters degree in 2020 from Chamberlain University.

Before coming to Mt. Ayr, Kristin served the Creston and St. Joe areas in their urgent care and emergency room settings.  Her transition to a clinic environment marks a new chapter in her professional journey, and she is looking forward to taking care of the people in her rural community by providing high-quality healthcare.

Outside of her professional life, Kristen is passionate about rodeo, particularly breakaway roping, loves spending time outdoors, and camping. Kristen lives with her husband, their two children, a sweet Yorkie named Waylon, and three horses. Her family-oriented and active lifestyle keeps her busy, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.
